All about your
accommodation and other practical details such as vegetarian meals and how to
get to your healthy living vacation retreat
The retreat
You will be staying in a beautiful
Andalucian country retreat, situated in a very peaceful area about 4km from
the village of El Gastor and 20km from the historic town of Ronda.
The house is set in olive and lemon
groves with unspoilt gardens leading down to the lakeshore. Rolling
hills and mountains in the distance surround the area. There is also
a swimming pool.
The retreat offers double and single
rooms with twin beds, bathrooms and a kitchen. Outside, there is a
lovely shaded patio and terrace. The yoga classes and art workshops
are held in the gardens.

Vegetarian meals
All food,
which is prepared in the house, is vegetarian. Both Rona and Susan
have been vegetarians for over 20 years. They try to use organic
food where possible, mainly from their garden or from their
neighbour's. They can also cater for special dietary needs.
Breakfast:
Each day we will start with fresh orange juice, fruit and yogurt,
cereal or Spanish breakfast, which consists of toast with our own
cold pressed olive oil, garlic and tomatoes. Free-range eggs, herbal
teas, and decaffeinated coffee are available.
Lunch:
Lunch will be a light buffet with salads, fruits and Gazpacho (cold
vegetarian soup). If we are on the move, we will supply a packed
lunch.
Evening Meal:
Spanish people tend to eat late. Evening meals consists of 3
courses.
Eating Out:
There will be occasions when we will eat out in the village to give
you a chance to sample the local cuisine.
